Job Description

The Role:
We are looking for a skilled professional to lead the migration effort of PHP services to AWS account.
This project migrating multiple services.
Responsibilities:
● Implementation of a robust set of services and APIs to power the web application
● Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
● Implementation of security and data protection
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the existing AWS ECS PHP services and
formulate a comprehensive migration plan. Lead the execution of the migration plan, ensuring
minimal downtime and optimal performance during the transition
● Utilize your expertise in PHP technology stack to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may
arise during the migration process.
● Ensure the technical feasibility of Architecture / System migrations.
● Work closely with DevOps and Cloud teams to ensure seamless integration of the migrated
services into the new infrastructure.
Skills and Qualifications
● 3-5 years of hands-on experience with PHP technology stack.
● Good understanding of Object Oriented JavaScript.
● Proven experience in migrating applications on AWS, specifically using ECS.
● Good to have experience in any of these advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such
as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS etc.
● Proficient understanding of code versioning tools Git, Bitbucket etc.
● Experience working CI/CD pipelines preferably Gitlab.
● administration and scaling an application to support load changes
● Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
● Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
