Position: Business Development Executive

Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive (BDE) will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new clients to drive business growth. The BDE will play a key role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions to meet those needs. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential clients through various sources such as online research, networking events, industry contacts, and cold calling.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitors, and opportunities for business growth.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Understand clients’ business objectives, challenges, and requirements to present suitable products/services and value propositions.
- Conduct effective product/services presentations and demonstrations to clients, addressing their concerns and objections.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Prepare agreements or contracts like MSA, SOW etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and Recruitment, to ensure smooth client on boarding and project implementation.
- Maintain regular communication with existing clients to nurture relationships, identify up-selling or cross-selling opportunities, and address any issues or concerns.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the Information Technology (IT) sector.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Self-motivated and target-driven with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
