Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end AWS → GCP data migration and modernization
• Design enterprise Data Lake/Lakehouse architectures on GCP
• Lead GCP Data Engineering using BigQuery, GCS, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Dataproc
• Design batch, streaming, ETL/ELT and CDC pipelines
• Lead AI/ML, GenAI, RAG and MLOps initiatives using Vertex AI
• Drive data governance, security, quality and compliance
• Implement Terraform, GitHub, Cloud Build and CI/CD
• Optimize performance, scalability and cloud costs
• Manage and mentor Data Engineers, ML Engineers, Technical Leads and engineering teams
• Work closely with US-based stakeholders, Product, Data Science, BI, Security and Business teams
Must-Have Skills
✅ 15+ years of overall experience
✅ 5+ years of strong hands-on GCP Data Engineering experience
✅ Strong AWS Data Engineering Architecture experience
✅ Proven AWS → GCP migration experience
✅ Expert-level SQL and strong Python/PySpark
✅ Strong BigQuery, GCS, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer Terraform experience
✅ Hands-on Vertex AI, AI/ML, GenAI, RAG, embeddings vector search
✅ Strong MLOps and CI/CD experience
✅ Experience managing technical/engineering teams
✅ Strong communication skills with US-based stakeholders.
