Oracle Transition Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete transition lifecycle, including planning, execution, stabilization, and handover.
• Develop and maintain detailed transition plans, timelines, governance frameworks, and milestone tracking.
• Coordinate Knowledge Transfer (KT), shadowing, and reverse shadowing activities across delivery teams.
• Ensure all transition deliverables, including SOPs, process documentation, runbooks, and KT materials, are complete and approved.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate transition risks, issues, and dependencies while ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, incumbent vendors, and internal delivery teams throughout the transition.
• Define and validate service readiness across people, processes, tools, and documentation.
• Ensure a seamless transition into the AMS support model, including L2/L3 support readiness.
• Track transition progress, prepare governance reports, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Support early-life support activities and stabilization following the transition.
• Coordinate resource onboarding, ramp-up planning, and transition milestones.
• Ensure service continuity while maintaining quality, compliance, and agreed SLAs.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in IT Services with strong expertise in application/service transition management.
• Proven experience managing Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Fusion application transitions.
• Strong understanding of Application Management Services (AMS) and L2/L3 support delivery models.
• Hands-on experience in transition planning, governance, execution, and stabilization.
• Experience working in multi-vendor and global delivery environments.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.
• Excellent risk management, issue resolution, and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver within tight timelines.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), APIs, and Oracle PaaS environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and structured service transition methodologies.
• Oracle certifications will be an added advantage.
