Technical Lead (AI-First | Strong Fundamentals | MVP Builder)

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & System Design

• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable system architectures
• Lead discovery sessions and create structured solution blueprints
• Define:
  • Data models
  • System boundaries
  • API contracts
  • Performance trade-offs
• Design systems that can evolve from MVP → scalable product

MVP Development & Delivery

• Build MVPs that are fast to launch yet production-conscious
• Ensure systems are designed to scale without major rework
• Balance speed vs engineering quality

Technical Leadership

• Guide developers on:
  • Clean code practices
  • Design thinking
  • Implementation standards
• Introduce reusable patterns and architectural best practices
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance

AI-Driven Development

• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor) to:
  • Accelerate development
  • Debug efficiently
  • Prototype rapidly
• Validate and refine AI-generated output using strong fundamentals.

  1. Strong Engineering Fundamentals

  Database Design

  • Expertise in schema design (normalized vs denormalized)
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Indexing strategies
    • Query optimization
    • Execution plans
  • Experience handling large datasets and performance bottlenecks
  • Design for analytics, reporting, and scalability
  • Advanced SQL proficiency

  System Design & Architecture

  • Experience designing scalable, modular systems
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Monolith vs Microservices (and when to use each)
    • API design (contract-first approach)
    • Caching, queues, background jobs
  • Ability to design systems that grow without redesign

  Problem Solving

  • Break down ambiguous problems into structured solutions
  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills

  • Daily usage of AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor)
  • Ability to learn new tech stacks quickly using AI
  • Experience integrating AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI)

    • Architecture exploration

  Backend

  Frontend

  • React / Next.js / Vue.js
  • Ability to build functional and usable UI quickly

  Cloud & DevOps

  • AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, SES, CloudWatch)
  • Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git

  Databases

  • Strong expertise in:
    • MySQL / PostgreSQL (mandatory)
  • Exposure to NoSQL is a plus.
