Job Description

  1. Understanding Talend BD and DI Jobs, version control practices, and metadata management
  2. Establishing secure connectivity between Talend 8 and Azure Databricks, CI/CD.
  3. Identifying where metadata is managed and assisting with automation to repoint Talend jobs from HDFS to ADLS on Databricks
  4. Sharing insights on how other Talend customers are addressing similar challenges
  5. Supporting unit testing, and producing test artifacts, documentation, and reusable templates
  6. Providing oversight on ESP (Walgreens’ scheduling platform) changes to support execution of Talend 8-migrated Databricks jobs (.jar files)
  7. Offering guidance on enhancing the validation framework to support data comparison between HDFS and Databricks
