Networking domain(Network engineer) – Japanese n2 Level must

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and VPN infrastructure.

• Manage routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and network appliances.

• Monitor network performance, availability, and health using tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG.

• Perform network upgrades and patches during maintenance windows.

• Provide L2/L3 support and resolve escalated network issues.

• Maintain network documentation including diagrams and IP schema.

• Implement security best practices (ACLs, firewalls, VLAN segmentation).

• Work with ISPs and third-party vendors for internet and MPLS services.

• Support remote site connectivity and network expansion projects.

Technical Skills:

• Networking Protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, DNS, DHCP.

• Hardware: Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, HP Aruba.

• Tools: Wireshark, Cisco Prime, NetFlow, SNMP monitoring.

• Security: Firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPN (IPSec/SSL), NAC.

• Cloud Networking (Optional): AWS VPCs, Azure VNets, Cloud VPN Gateways.

• Scripting (Nice to have): Python, Ansible, or Bash for network automation.
