Act as the primary functional point of contact between business users and technical/Ariba implementation teams.
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
Drive and manage Ariba enhancement requests, change requests, and functional improvements.
Provide functional expertise and configuration support for:
Ariba SLP (Supplier Lifecycle & Performance)
Ariba Sourcing
Ariba Contract Management
Ariba Catalogs (Hosted & PunchOut)
Coordinate with technical teams for integrations, customizations, and issue resolution.
Ensure smooth SAP MM integration with Ariba, including:
Master data integration (vendors, materials, GL, cost centers)
Procurement processes (PR, PO, GR, Invoicing)
IDoc/CIG integration flows
Support UAT, defect triage, and go-live activities.
Create functional documentation, process flows, and user guides.
Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure solution alignment with procurement and sourcing processes.
Provide guidance on best practices and continuous improvement.
5+ years of hands-on experience as an Ariba Functional Consultant.
Strong functional knowledge of:
Ariba SLP
Ariba Sourcing
Ariba Contracting
Ariba Catalogs (Hosted & PunchOut)
Solid understanding of SAP MM integration with Ariba.
Experience working with Ariba CIG.
Strong business analysis and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to drive discussions, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.
Experience in enhancement projects and post-implementation support.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
