NIPS/NTBA/ATD – L2 Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support McAfee NIPS/NTBA/ATD solutions in a 24×7 environment.
• Configure, implement, and maintain network security policies and device configurations.
• Monitor, investigate, and resolve security incidents, alerts, and performance issues.
• Perform packet capture and traffic analysis using tools such as Wireshark.
• Integrate security solutions with AD, IAM, SIEM, SOAR, and authentication platforms.
• Perform patching, upgrades, compliance activities, and OEM TAC coordination.
• Prepare SOPs, technical documentation, RCA reports, and knowledge base articles.
• Ensure SLA adherence and mentor L1 engineers when required.

Required Skills

• 3–6 years of experience in Network Security with expertise in McAfee NIPS/NTBA/ATD.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
• Experience with packet analysis, network troubleshooting, and OSI Layer 1–7 concepts.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, Active Directory, IAM, and security integrations.
• Familiarity with scripting, automation, REST APIs, and security best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
